Christ’s compassion towards the sick and his many healings of every kind of infirmity are a resplendent sign that “God has visited his people”… His compassion toward all who suffer goes so far that he identifies himself with them: “I was sick and you visited me”. His preferential love for the sick has not ceased through the centuries to draw the very special attention of Christians toward all those who suffer in body and soul. CCC 1503
The sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick takes away sins and the remnants of sin, strengthens the soul giving one confidence in Gods mercy, helps one resist the temptations of the devil, draws one towards an inner conversion, and can even restore one back to bodily health.
If you or someone you know would like to receive the blessings of this sacrament, please contact the parish office, HERE. The request must be made with the consent of the one to receive it (if possible)
