About the Mass
Each weekend thousands of the faithful gather together to keep holy the Lords day. It is in the context of the Sunday celebration that people gather to give praise and thanksgiving to God for His goodness in giving us life. The Sunday celebration, our Eucharistic liturgy, our Holy Mass, is the principal celebration for those who believe in Christ, who we profess is the Son of God, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered, died, was buried, and rose from the dead, thus saving us from sin and death.
In the Holy Mass, we as a community of faith, receive the Word of God and Holy Eucharist for the nourishment of both body and soul. Thus the Sunday celebration of the Holy Mass is the high point, the summit, the central act of our worship as a Catholic community. St. Anne's Parish offers opportunities for the faithful to take part in the celebration of the Mass in both English and Spanish on the days and times listed here.
