R.C.I.A - Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults

What is it?

The R.C.I.A. (R.I.C.A  in Spanish) is a 1 year long journey into faith in which those who wish to join the Church learn about what it means to be Catholic and grow in their own personal relationship with God. 


Who is it for?

It is for

*  any adult who has never been Baptized and wants to join the Catholic Church through Baptism,

*  any adult who has been Baptized in another Christian religion who wishes to join the Catholic Church,

*  any adult Baptized as a Catholic who wishes to be Confirmed and receive first Holy Communion, and lastly

*  any adult who wishes to have a refresher course in the Catholic Faith. 


How long is the class?  What is it about?

The formation is a year long course of studies beginning in April or June and finishing a year latter.  The program covers the entire Catholic Faith.

Registrations are usually after Easter.


Volunteers Welcome

The R.C.I.A. team consists of 10 to 15 adults. volunteers are always appreciated!
