Religious Education
Purpose
The mission of St. Anne's Religious Education, first through seventh grade, is to foster and nurture the children's faith within our Catholic Christian tradition. Our teaching emphasizes the presence of Jesus in our lives and His love for each one of us.
We offer sacramental preparation for children who
-
have not been baptized,
-
have not received Reconciliation and their First Communion.
When can my child receive the Sacrament of First Communion?
Children may receive first reconciliation and first communion in 3rd grade or later after a minimum of 2 years of instruction. This means students who begin classes in 1st grade will attend classes for 3 years; students who begin classes in grades 2-7 will attend classes for 2 years.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, classes will be virtual for first and second year students.
